Second, the display of Xiaomi Mi Max is excellent. The phone comes with a massive 6.4-inch full HD screen with the pixel density of 342ppi. The screen is also covered with 2.5D Gorilla Glass. Xiaomi Mi Max: Great choice for photography
Last but not least, Xiaomi Mi Max comes with great camera combo. On the back, there is a 16MP main camera with Dual Flash. The aperture of the camera is clocked at f/2.0, which allows users to take photos very quickly. The front camera is clocked at 5MP with the same aperture as its brother. Xiaomi Mi Max has just been launched and now we would like to take it into a comparison with the current famous Lenovo smartphone – Lenovo ZUK Z2 Pro. Let’s see which one is the better 4GB RAM handset this month!
Xiaomi Mi Max vs Lenovo ZUK Z2 Pro: Spec comparison
As we know, Lenovo ZUK Z2 Pro is the first 6GB RAM device of the company. However, today, we will be only looking at its 4GB RAM variant in order to make it a fair comparison. So, first of all, talking about design, both Max and Pro are beautiful, stylish and premium with sleek metal unibodies, so we do not worry much about their appearances. As a result, we would like to dig deeper into the machines’ hardware to figure out the stronger one.
Differences will make it easier to choose the winner. Though, before coming to that part, let’s check their similarities together. Obviously, they are run by 4GB RAM, Android Marshmallow OS (although the ZUK Z2 Pro is a bit more modern with Android 6.0.1 version while the Mi Max’s only got Android 6.0), a dual SIM, Full HD display resolution, a fingerprint scanner, and Quick Charge 3.0 technology (83% in 30 minutes). In general, those are pretty good features for a smartphone to do tasks users want. Anyway, to pick out the better, we have to find their key different specifications.
Speaking specifically, no doubt the new Xiaomi’s product is bigger due to sporting a 6.44-inch IPS LCD screen while the Lenovo phone has a 5.2-inch Super AMOLED one. Moreover, the Max even packs up to 128GB ROM (expandable up to 200GB), a 16MP rear shooter, and a massive 4,850mAh battery. So… “max”, huh?! Therefore, if you’re seeking an excellent huge phablet, Xiaomi Mi Max can be a great option. Nonetheless, the smaller display with the same FHD resolution has helped the Z2 Pro get higher ppi – 424ppi, which means everything shown on its screen is cooler. Furthermore, Lenovo ZUK Z2 specs include a Snapdragon 820 (dual-core 2.15GHz + dual-core 1.6GHz) chip, an 8MP secondary camera and a USB Type-C port, making it definitely more powerful than the Mi Max’s SD650/652 (quad-core 1.4GHz + dual-core 1.8GHz) processor plus a 5MP front snapper. Well, it seems like Lenovo ZUK Z2 Pro will be a fantastic choice for those who love selfies and strong devices to do heavy stuff.

Xiaomi Mi Max will be available for sale in China from May 17, 2016. Its 128GB ROM + 4GB RAM version cost 1,999 Yuan (or about $306). Xiaomi Mi Max also features the fingerprint scanner on the rear for security.
The Mi Max will be available in three variants. The top version is the one uses Snapdragon 652 chipset, 4GB of RAM with 128GB of storage. With an enormous battery- 4,850 mAh, you can play games, use apps and do the other stuff all day on this smarphone.

Vivo V3 Max and Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Pro are two of the hottest Chinese smartphones nowadays. But let’s see which one is the real winner in the following comparison!
Vivo V3 Max vs Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Pro: Phone with the best performance is…
Desgin-wise, both come with a beautiful all-metal unibody design and sport a fingerprint scanner on the back. As for Vivo V3 Max specs and Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Pro specs, there are also many similarities we need to note. First of all, each of them boasts a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS LCD screen, a dual SIM, Android Lollipop OS (with different UI on top: Funtouch OS 2.5 for the V3 Max and MIUI 7.0 for the Note 3 Pro), and a microSD card slot to expand the ROM up to 128GB. Basically, they are good models you can take into consideration when it comes to buying a new device.
In terms of differences, the V3 Max seems a flagship with 4GB RAM, Hi-Fi tech, and an 8MP selfie camera. However, apart from them, the rest of its hardware, including 32GB ROM, an SD652 (4 x 1.8GHz + 4 x 1.4GHz) chip, a 13MP main snapper (with PDAF plus LED flash), and a 3,000mAh battery without fast charging tech, are not really outstanding.
For Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Pro, it’s got an SD650 (4 x 1.4GHz + 2 x 1.8GHz) which is not very different from the V3 Max’s processor in terms of strength, according to many analyses. The secondary shooter is a bit less strong due to being capable of just 5 megapixels, yet its 16MP primary (supporting f/2.0, PDAF, plus dual LED flash) cam is definitely better than the Max’s. Moreover, the Pro’s cell is also larger with 4,000mAh cell and fast charging tech. So cool, right?! But, wait! We can’t forget to compare the RAM. Xiaomi gives consumers 2 choices: 2GB RAM + 16GB ROM and 3GB RAM + 32GB ROM. Obviously, neither of them can be as good as the Vivo V3 Max 4GB RAM. This is really a hard question to solve. To get more useful information to decide the winner, let’s check out the next part for the machines’ costs and availability.
Vivo V3 Max vs Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Pro: Phone with the best price is…
Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Pro price is around $180 while Vivo V3 Max price is about $360, nearly double. Xiaomi Redmi 3 Note Pro has been famous for being an excellent, budget smartphone, and now it’s still able to prove that. Then, we’d like to say Vivo may get better performance, but Xiaomi gets both: performance and price.
Finally, Xiaomi Mi Max launch date has been decided to be May 10, 2016. Moreover, it will debut along with MIUI 8 and Mi Band 2. Check them out now!
Xiaomi Mi Max phablet: 6.4-inch, 16MP cam, Android 6.0.1
Xiaomi Mi Max can be a start of a brand new sub-brand of Xiaomi. If so, we guess it will be a series of phablets since according to recent reports, Xiaomi Mi Max specs will include a big display. You can put it in your jean pocket with a little room left to spare. As for Xiaomi Mi Max hardware, there will be a 6.4-inch Full HD screen, a Snapdragon 650 hexa-core 1.8GHz chip, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of ROM on board, according to GFXBench benchmark.
Apart from those basic features, it’s worth noting that the Max will also run on new MIUI 8 based on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS. And in terms of camera, the main one will be capable of 16 megapixels and the selfie snapper is 5 megapixels. They absolutely can produce great shots for you. Though, the rest of the Max’s specifications are still unknown.
Anyway, the above details have not been confirmed by the company yet. So, let’s wait a bit more to see if the handset will appear on another benchmark (like TENAA) with further information. In the meantime, let’s move on to the next part to get to know MIUI 8 and Mi Band 2, which will be released on the same day.
Xiaomi MIUI 8 and Mi Band 2
