Today, vivo finally unveiled the latest addition handset to their V series. In details, the new device (dubbed vivo V15 Pro) follows the new design of the NEX flagship, with a pop-up selfie camera and in-display fingerprint reader. On the other hand, the smartphone packs a bezel-less Ultra FullView Super AMOLED display with no notch. However, the biggest difference between the two is that this phone actually has better cameras than the NEX.

Firstly, vivo V15 Pro camera packs a 32MP pop-up sensors, which is a great upgrade from the 8MP on the NEX S. Besides, the vivo device features a triple-lens rear camera setup on the back. The main module is a 48MP sensor with 0.8µm pixels (1.6µm if you use 4-to-1 binning). Besides, it has an f/1.8 aperture and Super Night Mode which can stack several photos with different exposure to enhance the clarity of dark images.

 

There is also another ultra-wide angle camera, which can capture up to 120° field of view. Lastly, the system includes another 5MP depth sensor. For other specs, the vivo V15 Pro has a large 6.30-inch Super AMOLED display. Besides, the handset runs on Snapdragon 675 chipset with 6/8GB RAM. There is also 128GB storage (expandable to 256GB via microSD). It runs on the Funtouch OS 9, which is based on Android 9 Pie. vivo V15 Pro battery packs a 3,700mAh battery with “Dual Engine” fast charging. Finally, vivo also added in the handset the Game Mode 5.0, which prioritizes game performance.
