Carl Ngo – CEO of Mobiistar – shared with ET: “4G smartphones are trending in India, and is growing fast. This is the market where all the major things in the mobile industry are happening. Succeeded or not, it’s too early to tell. But this is the targeting market that we want to try”.

He also added: “After looking at the figures and growth size of the country, I have decided to move here. The idea is to run global operations in India. I am here full time.” On a side note, the company has already signed with manufacturer V-Sun Technologies to assemble handsets. Furthermore, the company is setting up SMT (Surface-mount technology) for the printed circuit board.
