Recently, Riot Games has announced that they are working on implementing a new League of Legends practice mode for the so game. This is great news, especially for novice players, as this feature is one of the most requested!

Just last summer, in an interview, a Riot representative turned down the possibility of a way for players to practice without joining real matches. They said that the mode is not necessary at all, and the best way to improve should be actually playing a game with real players. Of course, there are many who disagreed with this notion. To many players, the tutorial is practically useless, and while learning in a real match is good, new players may be intimidated, even abused by more experienced ones, if they make any newbie’s mistake. They still prefer a way to actually practice first, before jumping into the Rift for the real deal.
However, earlier this year, Riot has opened up about the possibility of a practice mode again. It was just that, they needed time, because he studio was busy with projects. Now, they have confirmed that practice, or sandbox mode, is now in the works. It will still take some time for it to be implemented, since the project has just started, but it would definitely please gamers, especially newer ones.
The practice mode is going to be, as Riot described, “low-scope, simple and straightforward”. It is going to be like a punching bag and weights for practicing the real moves. Players of all skill levels should learn a thing or two from the sandbox mode. However, multiplayer support for team drills is not planned yet. Hopefully it will be included soon. For now, we only know that the practice tool is for training with an unfamiliar hero, so you can feel more confident to enter the Rift.

According to a recent report from Wall Street Journal, Sony has officially announced that it plans to bring a few PS games to Android and iOS. Sony’s ForwardWorks subsidiary will be in charge of this process. They intends to bring these games to those 2 popular platforms by March 2018, the end of Q1 of that year. However, more specific details such as when the first title will be launched is still unknown.
It is inevitable, after all. Mobile gaming is a trend and a gold mine nowadays, and it brings in more revenue than console gaming. It is expected that Sony would at least try to adapt to this trend, at least in Japan. This is especially important, because Sony is such a big player in the gaming industry. Speaking of 4K smartphones, many geek tech will think of Xperia Z5 Premium from Sony first. This device is the first and only 4K smartphone of Sony to date. Very recently, it has been reported that Xiaomi is conducting experiments in making bendable displays. A render image was spotted on Baidu, showing a smartphone display that is able of being bent either backwards or forwards, flexible both left and right sides. The phone clearly shows off Android OS running over Xiaomi’s own MIUI on the display. However, realistic as it may look, we don’t see any sign of power source yet. So, our guess is that Xiaomi still has a long way to go.
Just to make things clear, Xiaomi is not the first company to every put effort in making bendable displays smartphones. As you may recall, LG G Flex is the world’s first curved, flexible smartphone. The G Flex comes with curved battery and flexible screen. This handset can be seen as the first step in making bendable displays. Other examples of curved display smartphones are S7 Edge and Note 7 of Samsung. Both companies have stated that the flexible OLED displays have brought much profit to their company.However, the displays of these devices are far from being completely bendable. Therefore, if Xiaomi succeeds in making their own bendable displays, it would become one of the most significant inventions of the 21st century.
