PS4 Pro: Both necessary and unnecessary!
For ages, top PCs have exceeded consoles in terms of hardware. Consoles simply can’t offer what PCs can. However, with the introduction of PS4 Pro, everything is starting to look up for consoles.

PS4 Pro: Both necessary and unnecessary!
PS4 Pro, since its announcement, has garnered a lot of interest from many people because of its features. Those include HDR and 4K capability. The improvements and features make PS4 Pro a powerhouse in the world of consoles, and bring consoles a step closer to PC in terms of hardware, and what they can offer for gaming. It is inevitable from the history of consoles.
We have seen this coming. It dated back to the PSOne as well. After generations of devices, consoles are still inferior to PC in terms of performance and hardware, but the gap is getting closer. Even in the lifespan of Xbox 360 and PS3, there have been numerous slimline and revamped versions. Now here we are – with a new PS4 version coming three years after being introduced to the original version. The upgrade seems good and all, but is it really necessary at this time? The answer, unfortunately, is no.

With the introduction of the new PS4, and subsequent devices from Microsoft which may be a stronger Xbox, now game developers must put these devices on the priority list. This is to make sure that they utilize all the processing power the new devices has to offer. Unfortunately, this will affect gamers with older generation devices, but are still not out of the life cycle yet. Sony has announced the death of PS2, but PS3 and the original PS4 is still alive, and have millions of subscribers. Introducing the PS4 Pro means that these gamers may lose the access to games, simply because of hardware requirements.
PS4 Pro: Be a natural step, not a forced effort
What’s ironic is that, PS4 Pro, with all of its improvements, still falls short in performance when compared with high-end PCs (although as we’ve said, the gap is getting smaller). However, consoles doesn’t need to be stronger than PCs. They just need to be just another medium for gamers. The mindset that consoles must catch up with PC may eventually be harmful to the industry. Just try to develop it naturally, not forcefully!
League of Legends teams: How they have drawn gamers in
League of Legends is a very successful game, and there are many reasons for. Riot Games did many things right for the game itself. However, one aspect of the game has drawn many gamers in the game: the League of Legends teams. Let’s see how this works!

League of Legends teams: How they have drawn gamers in
It goes without saying that fans are the true life force, the blood of every game, especially for competitive sports like League of Legends (LoL) or DotA. For LoL, it is even more clear: when the servers struggled in Riot’s early days, fans happlily spent for RP to dress up their heroes and expand the rosters. Top players and teams can get through economic crises by streaming and fan support. It is no wonder that teams put so much effort into engaging with their fans by various means, like Reddit AMAs (ask-me-anything sessions), or social media. So, why do League of Legends teams gather so much fans?
First of all, it is because of the success. With LoL becoming an international e-sport, it will have many grand tournaments. There will surely be big audience, and those with success will surely catch more fans. This is not different than other sports, such as football. The more successful you are, the more fans you will have. The next point is quite interesting, it’s about personality. almost every team competing will try to portray a personality, and as often, it will draw in more fans who can relate. Phoenix1 used to face a 0-9 deficit before turning it around, that’s a quality of champions, and fans like it.

Thirdly, sustainability plays a big part. Of course, every organization has to have at least some level of sustainability to survive. LoL teams are no different. In this case, they have it in the form of personality and goals. As long as they can stick to their renowned personality, set up goals and achieve them, or at least come close to, fans will love it, because teams are more or less what fans want to see themselves as. TSM, for example, set their goals very high initially, to be champions, and they have progressed tremendously, coming closer each tournament. Fans love that sort of perseverence.
League of Legends teams: They are fans’ darlings
Fans will always be the life support of competitive games like LoL. The game can gain more fans through the teams playing it. So, game developers need to note this down if they want the game to be successful. Teams are, after all, fans’ darlings!
Shadow Warrior 2 is over-the-top, and it’s good!
Shadow Warrior 2 has finally been out for PC, and is expected to come to Xbox One and PlayStation 4 some time next year. Compared to the first one, this game has some noticeable changes. Let’s take a look!

Shadow Warrior 2: Over-the-top, and quite a few changes from the first one
Following the first game’s released in 2013, Flying Wild Hog – the developer – has released Shadow Warrior 2 recently. It still follows the same gameplay system of the first game, which is first person hack-and-slash. You will still follow the steps of Lo Wang, the previous game’s main character, to exterminate everything stopping you. However, there are some notable changes this time around, making it a somewhat different experience to the predecessor.
The first one is pacing. This game is much, much faster. The pacing of the battles is extremely fast, and enemies will keep coming at you. You will literally be hacking your way through these battles. It will surely get your adrenaline pumping if you love some good old hack-and-slash action. However, with the fast pace of the game, the plot of the story is cut short this time around. Shadow Warrior in 2013 surprised many with a decent story for he genre. This time, the story is much shorter. The focus is surely on other aspects of the game.

The graphics is an immense upgrade from the first game as well. Everything looks gorgeous, and more violent in battles. Adding to that is the combat system, which follows the same formula as the first game, with minor changes. There are more equipments now, creating many styles of combat. If you are tired of slashing through enemies, you can now gun your way through them! However, with the loot rates, item management can be a bit of a pain, but it is manageable. One significantly improved aspect is the online co-op mode. It is fun when you can hack through hordes of enemies with friends!
Shadow Warrior 2: Ridiculous, but a fun game
Overall, there has been improvements over the first game, except for the story. Shadow Warrior may seem over-the-top for many, but it is actually a really fun game to play. So, if you plan to play this, get ready for some Lo Wang’s action!
5 greatest JRPGs of all time!
Japanese role-playing games (JRPGs) are not only about Pokemon and Final Fantasy like many people thought. From the SNES era to modern days devices, there have been many good games of the genre. Let’s take a look at our list of greatest JRPGs of all time!

1. Final Fantasy
Although we mentioned that JRPGs are not only about Pokemon and Final Fantasy, it’s hard to leave these two games out. Final Fantasy has become one of the staples for JRPGs, and even though so many games have been released (Final Fantasy XV will be released on November 29), their mark on the industry is still great. Deep plots, great character developments, interesting gameplay that require both strategy and grinding, all of those make up one of the most interesting experience in gaming. It is, without a doubt, one of the greatest JRPGs
If we have to pick the best of the Final Fantasy series, it would be VII. This is arguable, as some will say that IV, VI, IX or X deserve the title, and they have compelling arguments too. However, it is a fact that VII was the most successful. It managed to break the Western market, introduce the JRPG genre to the West, and has been the best-selling Final Fantasy in the franchise. The tragic backstory of the main character Cloud, the beautiful scenery of places such as Cosmo Canyon, fighting the main antagonist Sephiroth with his epic theme in the background, etc. It is a journey full of unforgettable moments.

2. Kingdom Hearts
This is a game from the same creator of the Final Fantasy series, Square Enix. It has a strange combination: Final Fantasy heroes with Disney characters, seen through the eyes of an original boy character Sora. However, Kingdom Hearts made it work in a perfect way. The combat system was fun too, combining the hack-and-slash with command input found in final fantasy. It will truly be a wonderful journey back to your childhood!

3. Dragon Quest
The dragon quest series have been a true classic. Especially with Dragon Quest 5, which has been remade twice in the last two decades. It has its art from the creator of Dragon Ball, and a deep story spread through different time periods. The game has truly touched the hearts of gamers. One little interesting fact: he original monster-collecting concept of Dragon Quest 5 inspired the game Pokemon, which has become a phenomenon later on! This game deserves its place as one of the greatest JRPGs.

4. Chrono Trigger
Another timeless gem in JRPG genre, Chrono Trigger has stood the test of time extremely well after two decades. It was conceived by the creators of Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest and Dragon Ball. The art style of the game is incredible, and the cast resonates very well with the audience. The plot revolves around a time-travel storyline, and has 13 endings! The soundtrack is also lauded as one of the best of all games. This is arguably Square Enix’s best creation alongside Final Fantasy. Besides being one of the greatest JPRGs ever, it is even considered one of the best games ever!

5. Pokemon Gold/Silver
Of course we can’t leave out this giant in our list of greatest JRPGs. It has been considered by many as the poster-child of JRPGs. The system is very simple, yet engaging and appealing: catching monster, duel with other trainers to become the best. If we have to pick from the series, Gold and Silver would stand out the most. It introduced many features which are still used later on: day and night cycles, new Pokemons, breeding, and letting you visit other regions. This formula is still used by subsequent titles.

5 greatest JRPGs of all time!
Here, in our opinion, is the list of 5 greatest JRPGs ever. They have many appealing qualities, and can withstand the test of time well. Which one is your favorite?
