However, with the fast pace of the game, the plot of the story is cut short this time around. Shadow Warrior in 2013 surprised many with a decent story for he genre. This time, the story is much shorter. The focus is surely on other aspects of the game.

The graphics is an immense upgrade from the first game as well. Everything looks gorgeous, and more violent in battles. Adding to that is the combat system, which follows the same formula as the first game, with minor changes. There are more equipments now, creating many styles of combat. If you are tired of slashing through enemies, you can now gun your way through them! However, with the loot rates, item management can be a bit of a pain, but it is manageable. One significantly improved aspect is the online co-op mode. It is fun when you can hack through hordes of enemies with friends!
