Xiaomi shipped over 100 million smartphone units in first three months of 2015
In order to celebrate the 5th anniversary, Xiaomi introduced their 5 new products for the event. While people feel really excited with the news so far, now Xiaomi make a big bag when announcing that the company shipped over 100 million units in first three months of the year.
The announcement was made by the company’s CEO, Lei Jun, on the Xiaomi official Chinese blog. He also said that the next five years will be very important to Xiaomi. Because the competition in the next five years will be fierce due to the rapid growth of domestic and foreign competitors as well as the entry of new players in the technical industry.
Previously, Xiaomi said that they plan to sell about 100 million units in whole 2015. But now, Xiaomi have right to be proud that they not only don’t even surpass their initial expectation but also make a overwhelming surprise. In 2014, the company shipped almost 70 million units which means Xiaomi sold over 30 million units within the first three months of the current year to exceed its 100 million sales goal. They also emphasized that the sale report even be higher if not for capacity or availability issues.
Before, Xiomi attended to sell about 15 million Xiaomi Mi Note in 2015, but it highly looks like the result is extremely much better. The Xiaomi Mi Note and Mi Note Pro were only launched January this year but they paid too much attention and love from users. The phones of course pack top-of-the-line features and specifications partnered with very affordable price tags which is Xiaomi’s signature style, especially Xiaomi Mi Note Pro. Besides, Xiaomi also announced two special editions of the Mi Note to fit various demand, the Ladies Edition and Bamboo Edition, which features a pink design and a natural bamboo rear panel, respectively.
Oppo Find 9: Dual Camera and Fingerprint Sensor?
A few days ago, we got a video in which shown some first images of alleged Oppo R7. The phone seems to be the world’s first ‘bezel-less’ smartphone to date. Oppo is creating much success and good impression nowadays. Especially the huge success of the Oppo Find 7, it looks like we will have chance to get the new Oppo Find 9 soon. Now, the OPPO Find has finally leaked again in pictures, showing off its unique look.
Although the images are not really clear, we succeed in revealing some features of the upcoming device. Firstly from the leaked photo, we can find dual camera setup at the back and easily to be the highlight of the device. But this is not the first time we see a dual camera device thanks to the HTC One M8 and also Huawei Honor 6 Plus. So, its not surprising to see such a dual camera unit at the back of Find 9 too.
From the front of the phone, we can see a clean appearance, however, the bezel panel looks very thin. Therefore, the display will seemingly cover the remaining side of the device. Besides, we can see top and bottom bezels which are pretty thick. The phone, except for some outstanding aforementioned specs, seems to be a continuation of OPPO Find 7.
At the back, there is a big round button that makes we think that it’s a power button just like the LG G3. However, given its rather large size, we feel that it could be a fingerprint sensor too.
The information is now belonging to the rumors, no official words including an official launch date. However, from some earlier leaks, the phone probably equip with powerful Snapdragon 810 octa-core processor with 4GB RAM and a 5.5-inch 2K display.
So, what do you think about the alleged Oppo Find 9?
OnePlus Oxygen OS installed: Screenshots & Antutu Benchmark of over 46,000 points
The own OS of OnePlus was revealed for a long time. While you felt it’s a little bit long time, now you don’t have to wait anymore to update the new version on their phone. Finally, OnePlus has released their Oxygen OS with Android Lollipop for all OnePlus One devices. OnePlus previously introduced the Android L launch for March, but now you can go Oneplus.net to install the new OS version. Now we will show you its Antutu Benchmarks (with Oxygen OS installed) and some first screenshots.
OnePlus launched their own OS recently. The new version, therein, come with a fully functionally and not a BETA. This is an initial version of their new OS and therefore, Oneplus pressed that they need the true feedback of the users as the most important part in order to make it better. They also create a feedback App so after installing the new version, you can directly give the feedback about their new OS.
As you know, after the serious suit between the company with Cyanogen Mod Inc, in which the OS maker decided to cooperate with MicroMax India instead of OnePlus with an exclusive contract. There are alot of conflicts, disagreements at the time had shaken the market for a time. While now the situation highly looks like to be better though, we have the strong feeling that many OnePlus lovers are pretty disappointed when Cyanogen Mod and OnePlus confirmed that they will not continue the Collaboration together.
From our first looks, it looks very barebone and flat, somehow similar to Cyanogen MOD and pretty close to the pure Android Stock Feeling. The previous nice relationship between OnePlus and Cyanogen is over, so now expect that Oxygen OS and Hydrogen OS will be the future for OnePlus Devices like the upcoming OnePlus Two.
We have some few screenshots of Oxygen OS from our OnePlus One
If you are excited about trying out the new OS based on Android Lollipop 5.0, we can find something necessary and some useful instruction on oneplus.net/OxygenOS.
Samsung’s Galaxy S6 Edge launch event in China: Half of attendees were hired ?!
In the Samsung’s press conference a few days ago in China, there are about 1,000 attendees. But, according to The Paper, they said on a report that half of them were fake. The event was held to officially introduce the newest Galaxy S6 as well as S6 Edge to Chinese’s smartphone lovers – the targeted market of many brands and now the biggest market in the world.
Therefore, the source said that people, under 30 years old, dressing like like, students or SamsunGlaxy fans were paid $4.80 (PHP 2127) for at least an hour to stay at the conference. The recruiters were also paid $3.20 (PHP 141) for each person they recruited.
Those people, after that, had to report that they admired the company and they are really curious about the new device of the company or how much they love the company as well, etc. Some of them were required to take pictures, post to social media with the name of the phone, WeChat app for an example and also like the Samsung Galaxy fanpage. Another interesting thing, half of the pictures of the luxirious Samsung Galaxy S6 or S6 Edge were taken by the Apple iPhone. What do you think about it?
Samsung had been experienced not a good year in 2014, in case you dont know. The company was the largest company for many years but lost its share in global recently, especially in China, where Apple took over 27.6% market share. Therein, the Apple iPhone 6 itself took 10.2%. In China, the iPhone 6 is now the most popular device, followed by Xiaomi Redmi and iPhone 6 Plus. It seems that Samsung are trying to get fans back. They tried much on creating impressive, unique Samsung Galaxy S6 or S6 Edge with many upgrades, advancements and improvements. Besides, they also emphasized doing marketing in order to improve the Samsung brand.
So, what do you think about the action of Samsung. Do you think they’re right?

The phone still remains unchanged 5.5″ IPS LCD Quad HD display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels combined with a density of 538 ppi. However, according to LG, apart from the similar display, the successor of LG G3 is a “quantum jump in terms of key features, including color gamut, brightness, contrast ratio, touch function, power consumption and thinness.”
More specially, the new one will add some advantages thanks to three important features: high color gamut LED, dvanced In-Cell Touch (AIT) as well as photo-alignment.

Another advancement of next LG G4 compared to other QHD LCD handset is that the phone will report 50 percent higher contrast ratios and 30 percent higher brightness but the power consumption still remains.
Additionally, while LG didn’t press the exact LG G4 in their press release, but with the phrase “LG’s forthcoming flagship smartphone to be unveiled at the end of the month.”, we’re pretty sure that the phone is the highlight of the event.
