Just a few days ago after the official launch of Samsung Galaxy S6 and Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge. These devices paid too much attention and it seems that Samsung is attending to introduce another curved display. This new phone is definitely Samsung Galaxy Note 5 Edge. The most outstanding we wanna emphasize is that the Note 5 phablet might possibly come with dual-edge sides.

The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge – the first dual-edges phone in the world received unbelievable reception from not only the critics but also the users well. In fact, the new Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is significantly improved from the Samsung Galaxy Note and easily be the most beautiful Samsung’s smartphone to date. Samsung is now meeting some troubles in sales so these recent actions might shake the market well and increase their financial reports.

Although it’s not really clear about its official appearance? Could the Note 5 Edge will come with just one Note with curved display or two separate models as the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge. However, the Note 5 Edge will officially arrive in September. It means that there is a lot of time for Samsung to make their specific strategy or not. Some previous rumors leaked about the Meizu MX5– which phone is expected to be the direct rival of the Xiaomi Mi5. When we did not sure about its appearance before. It seems that this phone is probably real, thanks to the first pics that is posted by Meizu Founder J.Wong yesterday. From what we can see the Meizu MX5 will have extremely thin bezels, and a physical home button similiar to the Meizu MX4 Pro.

The Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge have just introduced at MWC and this phone might be a serious response to them. The Meizu MX5 comes with a similar looking home button, compared to the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge. Moreover, its phone reports a definitely super narrow bezels and a brushed metal look. When the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge with two curved sides is more rounded, we have an more elegant look in the Meizu MX5.

Previous leaks said about 41MP rear camera which is a really huge improvement of Meizu. Some other sources gave the same thing. If these sources are reliable, the Meizu MX5 will be honestly remarkable. As you probably know or not, the same main camera are now available on Nokia 808 PureView and Nokia Lumia 1020.

Besides, we hope that the Meizu MX5 will be supported Mediatek’s newest CPU, the high end MT6795. Specifically, the MT6795 is an true Octa-Core 64bit Processor clocked at to 2.2Ghz. The Chips supports displays up to 1,600 x 2,560 resolution and even 480fps Full HD videos. It highly looks like the Meizu MX5 will be packed 4GB of LDDR4 RAM. Besides, the Meizu MX4 – the best Android – running phone in 2014 easily go down lower position due to its new Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge appearance.

We also tested the S6 Edge on AndroBench and with the new SSD’s tech in S6 and S6 Edge storage, the read and write speeds really improved by a lot. While the Galaxy S5 scored just 24.2 MB/s the S6 Edge is able to score 139.08MB/s! (sequential write). We are really very impressed by Samsung’s new UFS 2.0 internal memory.

In additionally, the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge in GFX bench gets a very solid mark, however it is not really impressive as the Antutu Benchmark though. Good news for gamer also thanks to a very good 30FPS in the T-REX Game. In The Geekbench CPU Benchmark Samsung’s new Exnos 7420 appears very good multi and single core performance. In fact it looks like the Exynos 7420 is able to surpass Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 810 in this test. Sounds great ever!

The Yi Action Camera Ambarella-A7LS-Processor is able to record 60fps in Full HD or even 120fps in HD, or even 240fps in 480p. Wifi and Bluetooth 4.0 connection are surely available. Sounds really great in paper and we’re eager to experience in real.

Not stop at a higher quality camera, the Xiaomi Mi Pro Camera can also beat the Go Pro Hero in other parts, including storage built-in and weight, battery capacity. Compared to 111 gram of the Go Pro Hero, 72 gram of the Xiaomi Mi Pro Camera is much lighter. Besides, the device also comes with 64GB of on-board memory which doubly features than the Go Pro Hero. Another real plus of the camera is about their water resistance. Therefore, the Xiaomi Mi Pro Camera can go underwater up to 40 meters.

As for price department, the Xiaomi Mi Pro will officially arrive without case or other remarkable accessories. Moreover, “Travel Edition” seems a good option for us adding a Selfie Stick Mount that popularity appears in Asis market.

More interesting, the Xiaomi Mi Pro Camera can totally stick to everything, everywhere you want. You can stick it on a cat, a ride, motorbike, etc. That’s really convenient. Hopefully Xiaomi will launch their protective case, specially the Action Sports version.

Another convenience is users can manage the device via an Xiaomi Android App, such as: The Air Purifier and other current Xiaomi products.

Needless to repeat once again bout its price well, the Xiaomi Mi Pro Camera will be priced at 399 Yuan, 64USD or PHP 2821. At this mentioned price as well as some above listed specs, its camera is definitely a real rival of the Go Pro. For the Xiaomi brand as well as their price range, the Xiaomi Mi Pro Camera is worth to try getting on our hands.

Huawei P8 have paid much attention now. While previous leak said that the phone will come current MWC, it seems that we have to wait for a long time ahead. This is not really a good new for us. Cuz this phone will come next April, but unfortunately the specific time was not mentioned well, according to their newest teaser.

Much leaked specs as well as pics so far. And we can be sure that the phone will feature a 5.2-inch 1080 display, 3GB of RAM and 2Ghz Kirin 930 processor with 64GB storage on-board. Besides, the phone will run on Android 5.0 Lollipop that now install on many smartphones. Moreover, the Huawei P8 got around 47,000 expect performance on Benchmark with a Snapdragon 801 processor. About the camera part, the phone will arrive with 13MP main camera and a good 8MP front facing camera.

As for the critical part, the Huawei P8 is believed to be priced at 2888 Yuan, which is equivalent to PHP 20,711. 2888 Yuan is lower than the previous leak of 2999 Yuan, so it’s a good news for us. Hope the phone will come to Phi market a short time after the official launch. Moreover, the phone is leaked to enter the market with fingerprint scanner and slim body as well.  Some other rumours said that the phone will feature a larger screen, might be 5.7″- 6″.

As our expectation, the Gionee Elife S7 was introduced. When Gionee unveil their first teaser, we think Gionee will introduce a new device as the thinnest smartphone in the world, but in fact it’s not. In our previous report, we heard some information that the Gionee Elife S7 will pack an octa-core MediaTek MT6752 SoC. And, it turns out our report was indeed spot on!

The Elife S7 comes with a 5.2-inch Super AMOLED display along with a full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080p pixels. The 1.7GHz octa-core MT6752 is paired with 2GB of RAM, not really a special spec of the S7 when now having many true flagship with 4GB of RAM. Although the Elife S7 also arrive with 16GB internal storage, but it highly looks like  that will not be expandable.

Different from what we did expect, the phone measures 139.8 mm x 67.4 mm x 5.5 mm, meaning as thin as the Elife S5.5. As you probably know, the Gionee S5.5 was the the thinnest phone at one point in time last year. It seems that this time Gionee doesn’t really want to break the record.

About the photography department, the Gionee S7 features a 13 mega-pixel main camera accompany with an 8 mega-pixel “selfie” shooter, which is fixed focus. Congrats Gionee for their improvement of battery capacity, the phone will be powered  by a reasonable 2700mAh cell which doesn’t sound too bad on paper.

Good other news, Gionee will be shipping the phone with Amigo 3.0 (their own skin) which reality over the Android 5.0. Gionee can be proud of its spec well. In additionally, the S7 has dual SIM phone that support for 4G networks on the following bands: TDD LTE B38/39/40 FDD LTE B3/7/8/20.

Needless to emphasize that the main camera of S7 is 13MP which supposedly features the probably Image+ processing engine which enabled users to shoot ‘stunningly high quality images’. Besides that, the MediaTek MT6752 is quite good, which it’s not the first time a smartphone vendor uses it in their phone. You can find this chipset on such a phone, as the JiaYu S3 also.

The Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge was officially introduced at MWC. It highly looks like Samsung seems to be happy with the limited edition of Galaxy Note Edge success and they decided to keep the “edge” devices around.

“Beautiful” and “super light” are the first impression when touching these phones. Its appears that Samsung is really serious in order to “renew” their design as well. Clearly, the design of these smartphones are completely diferrent from other previous Samsung devices. From some high-specs, such as: solid metal rim, the rim surround camera as well as quad-core 14nm processor, RAM LPDDR4 and improved user interface shows an effort to create a product not good only in appearance but also in power and software.

Design:

The Samsung galaxy S6 as well as Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge are the most beautiful flagship of Samsung’s Galaxy devices to date thanks to a huge improving in design. This is the first time Samsung use metal frame from switching from an all-plastic shell.

Hardware

Samsung Galaxy S6 packs a 5.1″ Super AMOLED screen with Quad HD resolution and amazing 577 ppi density. It is protected by the latest Corning Gorilla Glass 4. The hardware Home key once again doubles as fingerprint sensor and supports the new Samsung Pay service.

Different from Galaxy Note Edge, Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge has the display glass bent on both sides of the phone. As previous leaks, the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge will not come with the latest Snapdragon 810 chip, probably due to the overhearing issues. The most oustanding spec is only 14nm process and frankly more energy-efficient and producing less heat compared to 20nm Snapdragon 810. Its phone is powered by Exynos 7420 chip – an octa-core 64-bit CPU with four Cortex-A57 cores ticking at 2.1GHz and four Cortex-A53 clocked at 1.5GHz. The Exynos 7420 chip uses a Mali-T760 GPU and comes bundled with 3GB LPDDR4 of RAM. Some other its advantages are OIS, phase detection autofocus and has a single-LED flash. We expect that the 4K video recording will be added in this device sometimes.

In additionally, for camera department, the “selfie” shooter is 5MP, capable of 1080p video capturing. The new Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge feature 32GB / 64GB / 128GB storage, non-expandable though. The tiny drawback is the protruding main camera but we’re sure that with all of listed above specs, this advantage is just a small thing for us.

The other addition, such as: LTE Cat.6, Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth 4.1, NFC, GPS with GLONASS and Beidou, IR blaster and FM radio.

For battery capacity, these phones are powered by a 2,550/2,600 mAh for Galaxy S6/ Galaxy S6 egde respectively.

For OS, the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge run on the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop maintained the latest TouchWiz UI with Material design and cleaner interface. The TouchWiz on the the Galaxy S6 Edge obviously offers various features and apps, concluding a newer and better version of the Quick Glance info for the lockscreen.

As for release date, the Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge will announcedly launch on April 10th in 20 selected markets, the others probably come in May.

As for colors options: there are 4 options for the Galaxy S6: White Pearl, Black Sapphire, Gold Platinum, Blue Topaz. For the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, 4 color choices are White Pearl, Black Sapphire, Gold Platinum, Green Emerald.

For the price, we still don’t get any idea about its price yet.

MWC official come and our long-awaited HTC One M9 was officially announced. But different from previous rumours, this time HTC One M9 come alone withouut HTC One M9 Plus as ecpected.

HTC One m9 arrives with a beautiful design, sophisticated feeling and refined design as well. Besides, its phone also supports dual anodization, and scratch-resistant coating along with sapphire glass on the camera lens. When you look at this phone, you can realise that this phone takes many inspiration from previous predecessor – HTC One M8. But overall, the M9 is much lighter and smaller, more minimalistic compared to the M8. The M9 has a single-part front bezel, new placement for the Power/Lock key, an improved volume rocker, and brand new color options. The M9 will come with many new colors choice:  Silver model with Rose Gold accent (on the frame), Gun Metal Gray, Gold version and Pink model with Gold accent (on the frame). The tiny drawback is that the Galaxy S6 is not water-and dustproof anymore. But don’t worry too much cuz HTC promises that they will launch IP69-certified cases for the One M9.

As specs-wise, the HTC One M9 will report 5″ along with 1080p display. Instead of the BoseSound, the phone will come with traditional BoomSound stereo speakers. After all, the HTC is a true flagship when it packs many high-specs. The One M9 is powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 platform – an octa-core 64-bit processor with four Cortex-A57 cores at 2.0GHz and four Cortex-A53 working at 1.5GHz. 3GB RAM is enough for multi-tasking also which can expandable to 32 GB storage built-in. Beside that, the M9 supports the new Adreno 430 for the graphic purposes. Another drawback, the HTC One M9 will be powered by a non-replaceable 2,840 mAh battery. Of course, it is supported by fast-charging as well, but the truth is the retail package is not a “fast charger”. Some other additional specs are rich connectivity package with LTE Cat.6 or Cat.9 (various by region) with support for 21 LTE bands, wired and wireless TV-out, GPS + GLONASS, Bluetooth 4.1, NFC and Wi-Fi ac.

HTC One M9 runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop accompanied with the newest HTC Sense 7 UI. In conclusion, Sense 7 supports BoomSound connect – it allows the phone to combine its internal speakers with external ones for surround playback. The updated service also uses location specific suggestions, meaning that you will easily find various tips for nearby restaurants.

One of outstanding specs is HTC One M9 camera. For specifically, the M9 has dual-camera 20MP sensor with a 1/2.3″ sensor size. HTC One M9 comes with a 20MP BSI camera on the back with F/2.2 aperture and dual-LED dual-tone flash. The maximum shooting resolution is 5376 x 3752 px – that’s 10:7 aspect ratio. RAW capture is supported, as is 4K video recording. Sadly, the M9 doesn’t have OIS (optical image stabilization). Howerver, one pus is a sapphire glass which can protect the lens from scratches. There is a 4MP UltraPixel sensor, without auto focus. In other hand, HTC has developed new cooler effects for the main camera and a brand new Zoe apps for Android and iOS will be launched.

For price, HTC didn’t give any thing about its price, but the next successor of HTC One M8 expectedly release in March.

At MWC, Huawei has just announced their two new devices – Huawei MediaPad X2 as well as Huawei Y635 along with their wearable Huawei Watch.

Firstly, Huawei MediaPad X2 features a 7″ display tablet, along with LTE connectivity also. Moreover, its phone sports  a 1,920 x 1,200 panel with a 16:10 ratio. Comparing to its predecessor, its phone is much compact thanks to minimal bezel surrouding.

In additionally, the Huawei MediaPad X2 comes with the latest high-end chipset of its maker, the Kirin 930, clocked at an octa-core 2.0GHz processor. More interesting, the phone will come with an astonishing 5000 mAh battery along with a 13 megapixel main camera as well as reasonable 5MP secondary shooter. There are two options for us, one is 2GB/16GB variant, the other is 3GB/32GB version.

The latest Android 5.0 Lollipop is now surfacing in many flagship smartphones. So, it’s easy to understand about its update of its OS, exalted by Huawei’s home-brewed Emotion UI. Moreover, we’ll get dual-Sim version of both storage options (2GB/16GB, 3GB/32GB) will be available.

There’s no high-end flagship from this Chinese smartphone makers, but at least what it does have is primarily Huawei Y635 – entry level handset. New Huawei’s smartphone is Huawei Y635 with LTE connectivety and NFC at a bargain basement price. Although reviews of the device appeared in UK tech websites, but we still do not have any reliable press pics.

As specs-wise, the Huawei Y635 packs a 5″ screen along with a mid-end 854 x 480 pixel resolution for an unimpressive 196ppi density. But over all, its phone will report a quad-core processor, clocked at 1.2GHz, accompanied with 1GB of RAM. Sadly the phone will support only little 4GB of on-board storage, but at least that’s expandable via microSD. Besides, the Y635 packs 5MP main camera along with a single LED flash as well as  2000mAh battery which users can replace by other thanks to a removable back cover. Moreover, its phone also supports microSIM and memory card slots.

For the price, althoug no official words but some rumours said that its phone will likely to be sub £125 (less than $200, PHP 8817).

We have good news for all of our girls. Many tech companies have been introduced smartphone targeting woman buyers. Some of them come with beautiful design, high MP of “selfie” shooter or impresive colors. But it seems that the specs are not really high. But now, Ebest – a Chinese company will launch a new smartphone for woman.

The Ebest Aurora Diamont will get an octacore, 64bit MT6752 chipset and 2GB RAM along with 127 stones embedded around the chassis of the phone. More specifically, an MT6752 means dual SIM LTE. Besides that, Ebest have included a 13 mega-pixel rear and 8 mega-pixel front camera on the slim 6.58mm phone. In additionally, its phoen will be powered by a 2000mAh battery, 5.2-inch 720p display and Android 4.4.4 Kitkat. We now don’t have any other words for price as well, but we hope that the Ebest Aurora Diamont will be priced slightly more than similar phones due to the ‘jewels’ used in construction.

A lot of interesting news about upcoming smartphone. We’re really excited about waiting for them. The MWC in Barcelona will start tomorrow and it’s the reason why we can see many leaks now. Recently, we have just heard about the Sony Xperia Aqua M4 and the Sony Xperia Z4 and now we give you the first real pics of its phone.

The above leaked photo shows us two of the new Xperia devices which will be released at the MWC. Therein, one is the Sony Xperia Z4 tablet and the other is probably the next successor of Sony Xperia Aqua M2. The Smartphone’s design is quite similiar to the Xperia Z3. Although we see the first pic of its phone as well. Some previous leaked specifications are still not officially confirmed. If we can believe them, it means the Sony Xperia Z4 tablet will be “extremely thin” as previously announced. Moreover, the phone will boast a “2K display” and be powered “the latest ultra fast processor”. And hopefully its phone will feature the latest Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 810. Also you highly likely get 4GB of RAM and 32GB of storage built-in. Looking at the screen of these pics, it highly seems both of them will run Android Lollipop 5.0.

Until now, no words for a new Sony Xperia Z4 flagship, it appears we should wait for its device for a long time. The Sony Xperia Z4 tablet and the Sony Xperia Aqua M4 will come in this event for sure. As for Z4 flagship smartphone, there were some reports that the Sony Xperia Z4 might just launch in Summer 2015.

Unfortunately, we hear that Sony is planning a restructuring of the company to reach their goal to increase the net profit by 25x till 2018. So, Sony might Exit from Smartphone Business says CEO Kazuo Hirai. But it’s not official news and don’t be worry, we’ll update more.

Just this morning, we gave you Asus Zenfone 2 with a score of over 50.000 marks on Antutu Benchmark. And now, more good news for you guys. Asus Zenfone 2 has just won the prestigious IF Design Award for 2015.

Asus Zenfone 2 is now super hot device with amazing specs with two new record. One is the world’s first smartphone with 4GB of RAM. The second one is the new leader of Antutu Benchmark. We’re sure that with its new award, the Asus Zenfone 2 will become more and more popular than ever. The phone will be officially launch on March 9th in their local market. Today, Asus company congratulated the Zenfone 2 on their GPlus Page and said “top design in innovation, ergonomics, and functionality.”

We know that most of you clearly understand about its specifications. But we think it’s really needless to repeat once again. Its phone is packed with many amazing specs, such as: 2GB or 4 GB RAM, 403ppi, Android 5.0 Lollipop, 64-bit chip and 13 megapixel camera for an astonishing price from only 199 USD (for 2GB variant).

By now, we know already that the Zenfone 2 will be at least three different OS versions: Intel, Qualcomm and Mediatek. Therein, the Qualcomm and Mediatek offerings will be priced at lower price.

The Asus Zenfone 2 will officially release next month in Taiwan, Singapore, Hong Kong, China and France. In April the Asus Zenfone 2 will come officially to Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam and Italy. Further countries will be Japan and India in April and Brazil in June this year. Sadly to say, we don’t have any idea about its official release date in Phi. But calm down.
