In their own press conference, Xiaomi President Bin Lin had compared many times Xiaomi Mi Note Pro to Apple iPhone 6Plus. Frankly, the new Xiaomi Mi Note and Xiaomi Mi Note Pro are obviously targeted to iPhone 6 Plus as well as Premium Flagship Market.

From that event, Bin Lin definitely clearly showed his proud of new flagship with a thinner and more compact design than iPhone 6 Plus. In it, Xiaomi Mi Note Pro is completely success with its non-protruding camera on its phones’ backs.

And Xiaomi also released a new Video wherein Bin Lin was describing a frying pan and the iPhone 6 Plus. Therein, BinLin emphasized ” It’s quite difficult to level mobile phone camera” and “Many manufacturers suffered a lot” with the available image of iPhone 6 Plus. Obviously Xiaomi president wanna mention about Apple’s protruding camera.

In this same clip, Bin Lin also said that Xiaomi Mi Note camera is “integrated harmoniously with the phone body” and is perfectly “user experience of mobile phones”.

Huawei claims that utilizing 4K screens to smartphones of 2015 would require too many compromises to be made for the technology to be worth the trade-offs.

FHD, QHD and might be 4K Display is seemingly a logical improvement for 2015 high-end flagships. Frankly, its upgrade probably give us a more interesting experiences. But, its seems that that activity is not really worth.

According to Kevin Ho, Huawei’s president of product,  while 4K screens look great on large displays, it’s hard to see the differences between them by our eyes.

“Maybe we have to compromise. For huge screens 4K is very good but for the smartphone it is 5-inch or 6-inch at the very most. Maybe our eye’s can’t tell the difference.”

He also said that “4K needs a lot of power, so if you use it you have to make compromises. A 4K display on a smartphone may give you half a day of battery life but a 2K display can give you maybe one day or more” and “4K has four times the pixels of Full HD so the power consumption is maybe 4 or 8 times as much as Full HD so the smartphone has to have compromises with battery life.”

Besides that, Joonsuh Kim, SVP of Huawei’s mobile ID team added: “For the moment, we do not care about the number game. There are a lot of companies showing off what they can do. What we are focusing on is how we can deliver true value to the end consumer.”

Therefore, according to Kim, they will concentrate on design, usability as well as price instead of a competition and it’s more worth.

While it seemingly increase the number of 2K displays high-end smartphones now, some leading handset makers have even questioned the benefits of QHD panels. For an example, Calum MacDougall, Sony’s Director of Xperia Marketing, suggested 2K screens were not worth the battery compromise.

Raising a question: How much do we definitely need a 4K Displays on mobiles, while it’s not really worth to invest new sensor and battery upgrades instead in current price?

Huawei has not ruled out adding 4K displays in the future either, clearly showing the potential of a swing in resolution over 2015 and 2016 to even higher resolution panels.

Last week, we heard about the next generation of Huawei Ascend P7 – called Huawei P8 after removing the “Ascend” brand in its phone name. After that, we had a leaked photo which is shown in Twitter fx57 that unveiled some specs. I guess that many of you are looking forward to getting much more news about its phone as well. And now, we have its launch date as well as specs, and that is all we know so far.

According to the Weibo Account @Ubuntu团队 that famous to launch Meizu infos, the newest Huawei phone will exactly come with previous leaked and also add some interesting features. Therefore, its phone will be featured 5.2″ FHD screen and also is powered by Kirin 930 CPU 64bit processor. The HTC One M9 or alleged called HTC Hima paid too much attention of us. A couple of days ago, we showed you one pic which is definitely our officially mysterious device, HTC One M9 and also probably HTC One M9 Plus. Its phone is rumourly expected to come in upcoming MWC event (2-5 March). And very interestingly, its case has been shown up on Amazon already.

Therefore, its case went up on Amazon with an expected launch date of Feb 9th. And from this news, we can know something about its phone as well.

First of all, this phone will be named as HTC One M9, not HTC Hima as our previous leaks. So it means that HTC still keep the name as HTC One M8’s next generation.

Next, It’s about its camera which is mentioned as different specs compared to its siblings. Some sumour (and we think some of them can be reliable sources) said that its phone will ditch UltraPixel setup which is present on the current flagship in favor of a megapixel unit. Therein, the HTC One M9 will report a 20MP unit with a 13MP front-facing camera on the device.

The Meizu m1 Note will have a new update. Therefore, the Meizu m1 Note Mini will come with a new update Snapdragon 615 chipset, as opposed to the Mediatek silicon of the regular version.

Except for this huge changes, the rest of specs are still same with the first release Meizu m1 Note. The news of OnePlus’s own Android OS- called OxygenOS or H2OS is definitely interesting with OnePlus fans. Although we don’t know much about its new OS. But atleast here are some images to shown a quick glance of the OnePlus Oxygen UI. Fortunately, its OS has a nice flat design scheme, good-looking, functional and not fussy. Very interesting when OnePlus completely buy the same group behind the phone. So sounds great for us.

After eveiling some leaked photos of their own Android OS, OnePlus has posted a teaser video which shown a Lollipop based ROM.

Therefore, the video shown us a OnePlus ROM report a near stock Android experience. According its clip, that it is a Lollipop ROM as the video goes in to the Android 5.0 Easter Egg.

Good news for you, guys. The Google Nexus 6 phablet will hopefully debut the Phi market. Its phone come with model number XT1100 has get throught SIRIM Certification and will go on sale as a global variant with amazingly surprising specs.

OnePlus has just unveiled a teaser which is shown a table of elements. May be a new metal is coming very soon but what is exact its metal?

Some commenters believe it mentions to a new metal back cover for the OnePlus One might be launched.

We now have limited number of Bamboo style swap cover in Phi and in China also has a wicker version, could a metal choice be next? Jan 27th: 220 million Xiaomi Mi Note – New Xiaomi’s high-end flagship were sold out in only 3 minutes. How much attractive this phone is?

Its phone has just introduced two weeks ago, and this is just “lower-specs” Xiaomi Mi Note? We are wonder what surprising thing will come with higher-quality Xiaomi Mi Note Pro?

It seems that Xiaomi fans have to sit at their computer most of the time to wait for the first batch of Xiaomi Mi Note. Its phone is cost at $370 or PHP 16840 which is slightly higher price tag more than its brother Mi4. And interestingly, many commenters thought Xiaomi definitely might struggle Apple to shift a comparatively expensive device.

Many sources said that Sony Xperia Z4 will not be launched at MWC 2015 as expected. Perhaps this smartphone company has another plan which is related to the next “007 movie”.

Last year at MWC 2014, Sony introduced the Xperia Z2. After launch of Xperia Z3 at IFA in late summer 2014, we all expect that in the first quarter of this year, Sony will release the newest member of the family Xperia, the Sony Xperia Z4.

In the CES event, Sony didn’t show any thing of Xperia Z4 as well. So, Sony lovers believe that in the upcoming MWC 2015, we will be seeing its firsthand. However, according to some recent announcement, it takes a few months for the Sony Xperia Z4 to be ready for shipping.

So, it will raise a question? Not MWC event? So When will its phone will come with us? Of course we don’t be sure for anything. But some rumours said that our long-awaited phone will come between May and November this year.

Related Information about Xperia design were hacked due to an internal email through Vice President of Marketing, George Leon, sent to Michael Lynton, CEO of Sony Pictures Studios. In the e-mail, he refers to the usage of the latest generation of Sony in James Bond movie “Spectre”. It reportedly said that Sony could launch Xperia Z4 Music and Xperia Z4 Dual-SIM variants.
