2014 is a successful of high-tech market. This year also showed a lot of new company, almost Chinese-based makers. And thanks for Antutu by providing us many tests of Android-running phone’s performance.

Antutu have reported their top 10 best Android devices in 2014. Wherein, the Meizu MX4 is the winner with a score of 47,765. Although Benchmarks are not the only way to test phones’ performance, and i guess that they can’t test all and end all of smartphones. But, very interesting, at least, they can give us a rough idea of how a phone runs. This is probably a good way for flagship vendors to compare with their fierce competitors.

According to Antutu, top 10 is Meizu MX4, Google Nexus 6, Samsung Galaxy Alpha, Samsung galaxy Note 4, OnePlus One, Xiaomi 4, HTC One M8, Huawei Mate 7, Nubia Z7 Max, Samsung Galaxy S5. It’s easy to see that most of mentioned phones made by Chinese-based manufacturers. Meizu is absolutely proud of what did they do in 2014 and Meizu MX4 is really their hot cake ever. They even don’t stay on top 10 last year. It’s great news for Meizu and also their new partners Mediatek who are creating their latest processors. Samsung still prove their attraction with 3/10 smartphones. Xiaomi has ranked top 10 for two years. Also, the Meizu MX4 come with MediaTek MT6565 processor but we can see that the most popular processor is Snapdragon 805 chipset. Hope there are more powerful performance of snapdragon 810 in 2015.

Tomorrow is the day of official announcement. So, now we have a leaked photo of its alleged phone and its specific price. Is this the Xiaomi Mi5 or other complete phones? In fact, it highly looks like Xiaomi will launch 2 devices, wherein one is a flagship phablet which will be bigger and thinner than its previous siblings.

Xiaomi paid much more attentions recently, about its new flagship devices, is planned to introduce on Jan 15th. This leaked photo shows a phablet handset which is similar to the current Mi4 in design. Named simply the Xiaomi Note comes with OIS, HIFI audio and MIUI V6.

This news is as expected, but the price is much more higher than our prediction (3,499 Yuan compared to 2,499 Yuan that we believed it’s alleged Xiaomi Mi5 or Xiaomi Mi 4S). Its price can probably the most expensive phone of Xiaomi ever.

There are much news that Xiaomi attend to build a new road by building a higher quality product similar to the Meizu MX4 Pro or Vivo X4 Max. This phone is mentioned as the slimmest phone of Xiaomi with a teaser of “Slimmer than the wings of cicada”.  And this below photo show that one of their new flagship is absolutely the Xiaomi Note.

Notice: Some recent leak revealed about a new phone, probably name: Xiaomi Opera – a completely new phone of Xiaomi.

The Asus Zenfone 2 – its famous name in recent time. After the first announcement at CES, many guys asked them about its phone. And do you want to know more?

As you probably know, the Asus Zenfone 2 is the world’s first 4GB phone along with high specs and extremely impressive price tag.

The Asus Zenfone 2 will be available in 2 variants: 4GB version and 2GB version. The 4GB Version with an Intel Atom Z3580 Quad-Core CPU clocked at 2.3 Ghz while the other version arrives with Intel Atom Z3560 clocked at 1.8 Ghz and “just” 2GB of RAM. And now we have already its phone score in Antutu 5.5 Benchmark Comparison.

Therefore, the 4GB version is scored at a very respectable 43809 points which is better than the Samsung Galaxy S5. While the 2GB version is marked at a very good score of 40926 points, this score even beat out the Xperia Z3. Sounds great for only 199 USD.

43809 points compared to 40926 points, in fact its difference is not really big. But both variants actually get very good scores. Anyways Antutu Benchmarks are just that – benchmarks and are not able to show the true multitasking and user experience with the Asus Zenfone 2.

Do you remember a teaser “Lucky Three” or “Three Happiness” (Translated into Chinese) which suggests its thing will be announced on Jan 27th? One of its expected thing is probably alleged Meizu m1 Note Mini. And it seems that this is the leaked photo of this mentioned phone.

Have a look at this pic, you can see that its screen size is about 5.0″, and also have the similary with the Meizu m1 Note in blue color. Chinese tech sites are reporting the appearance of a smaller blue shell with Meizu branding on that appears. It highly looks like the spy phone is much more and the quite same in size to its sibling – the Meizu MX3. Other addition, this phone has the same unibody design as the m1 Note.

That’s all of information that we know so far. But, based on current rumours, we can guest some other features. It is quitle clear that this phone features a 5″, and probably come with 1920 x 1080 FHD display, 2GB of RAM or may be 64 BIT Mediatek processor. Its phone can get the same MT6752 chipset (as m1 Note) or lower chipset not for sure.

Its price is abolutely under 999 Yuan (Meizu m1 Note’s price). Personally, i guess that the main purpose of Meizu is creating a direct rival to the new Xiaomi Redmi 2, is priced at 699 Yuan. So what do you think about the price of this spy phone? We believe 699 Yuan is its suitable cost!

The slimmest phone of Samsung finally comes with us – at 6.3 mm thickness, named the Samsung Galaxy A7. In the earlier last month, we heard about its phone with a lot of specific specs. Its metal unibody phone therefore come with two different variants chipset configurations. This phone will be expected to be availble for sale at the end of Q1 2015.

The Galaxy A7 will feature a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 SoC or 32-bit Exynos 5430 solution. Both chipsets feature octa-core CPU (1.5GHz quad A53 + 1.0GHz quad A53 for the Snapdragon 615 and 1.8GHz quad A15 + 1.3GHz quad A7 for the Exynos 5430). Both versions also come with other features contain LTE connectivity, a 13 MP main camera with LED flash, 5 MP “selfie” shooter, 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of expandable internal memory is also available.

As leaked for a month ago, the Samsung Galaxy A7 features 5.5″ HD Super AMOLED display. Although this phone runs on Android 4.4.4 KitKat but hopefully this phone will be upgraded to Android 5.0 Lollipop. Its dimension is a little different compared to the previous leak, detaily 151 x 76.2 x 6.3 mm (150.9 x 75.9 x 6.3 mm) and the same for its weight of 141 to 133 grams. The Samsung Galaxy A7 is powered by 2,600 mAh battery, a quite low capacity.

Samsung Galaxy A7 will be available in three colors: dark blue, white, or gold color schemes. Fortunately, The Korean-based giant announced for sure that its phone will be priced at a “competitive price point”. Nothing is better ever.

The latest smartphone of Micromax was introduced yesterday in India, codenamed: Canvas Hue. And its phone will be available for sale on this coming Friday.

Therein, its phone is recommended with a retail price tag of INR 10,999, which is equivalent of 175 USD or PHP 7865 (current exchange rate, dated 13th January).

For more specific specs-wise, the Canvas Hue will be featured a 5″ along with 720p AMOLED touchscreen with Gorilla Glass 3. As for camera, its phone will be supported a 8 MP main camera as well as 2MP front-facing shooter. Other features are a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor, incorporated with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage (might be expanded via microSD). As for performance, its phone runs on Android 4.4 KitKat, which is upgradable to Android 5.0 (Lollipop). About battery capacity, its phone is powered by 3000 mAh battery, which is quite enough to ensure decent use times.

Its design looks sophisticated with perfect blend of premium design, seamless efficiency and superior technology that satisfied consumer’s demand. More specifically, its first price for pre-order is €599 (or PHP 31779). But fortunately, its detail shipping date isn’t determined yet. You might think its price is too higher, but notices that that’s much cheap, compared to the original G Flex in the first batch, at  €850.

Meizu was huge successful of the high-end Meizu MX4 and MX4 Pro as well as current the m1 Note. And now, it highly looks like that this company attend to introduce something new.

On Ubuntu China weibo page, there is a new available leaked photo, therein, this teaser said that ” Lucky Three” or “Three Happiness” (Translated into Chinese) which suggests its thing will be announced on Jan 27th. What does it mean?

It might be 3 products on the next time, or 3 surperising things in one product. We don’t know exactly. But recently, we heard that about Meizu m1 Note with Ubuntu power.  So it won’t be a unreliable guess if we assume that this announcement has something to do with Ubuntu for phones.

Of course, may be we meet some inderstanding here, as one of comment by the image poster roughly translates to “Notice the color, not the three”.

Do you remember ” the Meizu K52“, which is expected to be the direct rival of Xiaomi Redmi 2. May be its phone is one of ” surprise of Meizu”.

Anything else? Let guess. Another option is Meizu m1 Note mini. It can also  have more products up their sleeve such as a smart router, TV box etc, or will we get Android 5.0 Lollopop ?

A couple days ago, the Oppo U3 is gotten through TENAA certification for sale in China. And now, a official launch of its phone is unveiled, therefore, its phone will be formally introduced, on January 14th.

January 14th, only one day before the official launch of Xiaomi. It looks like that Oppo expected to pay much attention. Let have a quick look at this phone, to know which specs Oppo U3 will be packed to beat out with Xiaomi’s new flagship.

As we mentioned some days ago, its phone will features a 5.9″ accompanied with 1080p display.  Additionally, its phone will be run on MT6752 chip with octa-core 1.7GHz Cortex-A53 processor. Moreover, the Oppo U3 is supported Mali-T760MP2 graphics as well as 2GB of RAM, 16GB expandable storage. And the most highlight, in my view, i think it’s 4x optical zoom and 4K video capturing. Its feature definitely makes the Oppo U3 as the world’s slimmest phone with 4x Optical zoom (9mm), even thinner than Asus Zenfone Zoom (11.9mm). Huawei is planning to enter a new mid-range flagship smartphone, its name the Huawei G628. This phone will be expected to launch in domestic, and no words about global shipment.

This phone might be the first Huawei device use a 64-bit MediaTek MT6752 processor. But unfortunately, its phone is packed not much high-quality features. For more specifically, the Huawei G628 runs on Android 4.4 KitKat. It seems that unless Huawei update its phone from Android 4.4 KitKat to Android 5.0 Lollipop, “64 bit” will be meaningless.

Besides that, the G628 features a 5′” along with 720 p touchscreen. Its phone is powered by MT6752 SoC, clocked at 1.5 GHz octa-core Cortex-A53 CPU. As for photography, its phone comes with 8MP main camera (with LED flash) as well as 2MP for “selfie” lovers. About hardware, its phone is packed with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of storage built-in.
More over, its phone will be supported dual-SIM. But it highly looks like its first batch will be targeted to the China market, instead of the others, since it supports TD-LTE and TD-SCDMA networks, which the aforementioned carrier operates.

Its news is really surprising, cuz it’s used to take months for resellers to get their hands on the newest Xiaomi phones and to be ready for global pre-order. But this time is much more different, meaning that just taking no longer we are already seeing the Xiaomi Hongmi 2 is advertised to global customers.

As you probably know, the Xiaomi Redmi 2 is packed some updated specs compared to the Xiaomi Redmi 1S, such as:  dual SIM LTE, Snapdragon 410 processor, 2200mAh battery ( compared to 2000 mAh), slightly smaller and much lighter body ( .
