Steam UI has just been redesigned!

Steam is the most popular store on PC, without a doubt. There are many reasons, but namely the easy-to-navigate interface and numerous discounts the store offered throughout the year. Recently, the user interface (UI) of Steam has been revamped, with new looks and functions. The changes has been live as of now, and you can see the new changes after you update to the latest version.

You can see the changes as soon as you log into the store (after the update, of course). This update is referred to as he Discovery Update 2.0 (it is actually a reference to a 2014 redesign). The goal of this design is to essentially make it quicker and easier to search for what is important to you. To be more specific, there will be more quick-access links to many options, like adding a game to your wishlist or mark it as not interested, right from each game tiles. You can also see recently viewed games, hat’s trending among friends. You can also choose not to see some categories – like movies offers.

This new Steam UI also incorporates new algorithms, which will try to recommend better games for you. The recommendations will be based on our total playtime of games, what your friends suggest, the curators you follow, and more. Along with that, there will be places to highlight games with new updates, sales, recommended by curators, etc. Overall, the overhaul of the UI aims to improve Steam store experience of customers, which at times shows quite a few issues, as the number of games available in-store increases.

New Steam UI, better experience!

With this move, Steam has again showed that they make great efforts to satisfy their customers. With the new UI, it is now easier to browse through and look for what you need. Update to the new Steam version now, and tell us if you like it!
