Now, after months of testing more than 200.000 smartphones and 30.000 batteries by 700 experts, Samsung finally announced its findings officially: At a Monday press conference in Seoul the Samsung’s mobile business chief, Dong-jin Koh blamed faulty batteries for the fires of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7, neither the hardware nor the software contributed the fire in any case. At first, Samsung blamed the batteries produced by its own subsidiary Samsung SDI and installed batteries from another producer in their replacement devices. But, these batteries also tended to be explosive.

“Our analysis showed the main cause for the incidents was deflections in the negative electrodes,” he said at the press conference in Seoul. The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 smartphones were packed with lithium-ion batteries, which have three different layers: a positive electrode, a negative one and a third physical layer that should separate these two. When the positive and negative electrodes come in contact, it can sometimes lead to short circuits within the battery cells.

Recently, Samsung introduced their cheapest phones to India – Galaxy J2 Ace and J1 4G (2017). They are the affordable smartphones to make Samsung penetrate to low-range phone market in India.

The handset sports a 5 MP rear camera and a 2 MP front camera. The device is fueled by a 2050 mAh battery. The J1 4G runs on Android OS, v5.1.

Of course, this picture is not from an official source, but who knows? Maybe it really shows us how the new Samsung Galaxy S8 series looks like.

To sum up, what we know so far about Galaxy S8 phone is that it is expected to have a 4K display. At heart, it will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 mobile processor and it is said to sport a 16MP selfie snapper on the front just like Galaxy A5 2017. Last year, Google surprised many people when giving up on the Nexus phones. At the same time, this giant released their two new smartphones- Google Pixel and Pixel XL. These phones come with many new and strong specs at that time. However, the looks of them are not really attractive when compared to the other flagships. That’s could be the reason why this company is taking care of their next device- Google Pixel 2.

This new Google phone has just recently surfaced online with some renders and specs. Now, let’s come to the design first! Compared to the predecessor, this new Google phone will come with smaller bezels on the top and bottom of the phone. The back is also quite different. It will be coated with glass, not half glass half aluminum like the old Pixel. The main camera is placed at the center and the fingerprint is right below it. As you can see that, the phone comes with a more elegant look.

In terms of Google Pixel 2 specs, the phone will be powered by an octa-core SND 835 processor and run on Android 7.1 Nougat OS. It will pack 6GB RAM paired with 128/256GB of inbuilt storage. In addition, the phone will come with a 3.5mm head jack and  USB Type-C. There is no information about the other specs of the phone. However, those specs will be at least as good as those from Pixel last year. We expect this 2nd generation will have higher specs.
