New series alert! Samsung Galaxy On smartphone is going to launch soon in India. In fact, it’s actually the rebranded Galaxy J6; coming with 4GB RAM, 3000mah batt, and a single 13MP cam. Keep reading for more details!

Samsung Galaxy On specs
We’ve known that Samsung is looking to refresh its Galaxy On series for some time now, but information has been pretty scarce. Unfortunately, the upcoming smartphone remains a mystery, although we now know when to expect it. Just like before, Samsung is looking to partner with Flipkart to bring the device exclusively to India. The launch date is set for July 2 at 12:30 PM IST and even the landing page is all set up. From the marketing campaign, we can assume that it’s going to feature an Always on Display, which means Super AMOLED panel.
Also, the promotional video with Tiger Shroff reveals a single camera setup on the back with a fingerprint reader right under. And if the previous report is accurate, the next Galaxy On smartphone will pack an Infinity Display, Exynos chipset and 4GB of RAM. And we expect it is actually the rebranded Galaxy J6. In terms of the display, Samsung Galaxy J6 specs sport a 5.6-inch Super AMOLED screen with the resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels.

On top of that, the phone gets power from the Octa-core Exynos 7870 chipset at the core. Besides that, this upcoming Samsung phone offers different storage options of 2GB/3GB/4GB RAM and 32GB/64GB ROM. In addition, there is a microSD card that can expand to 256GB. Regarding the operating system, the Galaxy J6 works on the latest Android 8.0 Oreo out-of-the-box. Next, Samsung Galaxy J6 camera equips with a single 13MP snapper on the back while the front-facing snapper has an 8MP lens for selfies. Also, the connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, GPRS/ EDGE, GPS/ A-GPS, Bluetooth, and fingerprint sensor. Last but not least, the Galaxy J6 battery rocks a non-removable 3000mAh juice box.

LG Display: the future screens Apple choose for iPhone X Plus
It looks like Apple and LG have joined hands together! Apparently, LG Display is now in charge of producing OLED screens for iPhone X Plus models. Keep reading for more details!

LG Display x Apple’s OLED display collaboration
Bad news for Samsung! Apple recently invested $2.7 billion in LG Display to help build OLED panels for its 2018 iPhones. According to China Morning Post, Apple is planning to get LG as its second OLED supplier and will initially deliver between 2 ~ 4 million units. In addition, LG is said to be building a production line dedicated to iPhone orders only, as part of its agreement with Apple. But 4 million doesn’t even scratch the surface of iPhones that are going to ship this year.
So LG will be having just 20% of the OLED supply chain while the rest will still go to Samsung. Related sources claim that LG Display wants to take a bigger cut, but it’s not ready to meet the full demand for OLED panels. Besides, LG Display is going to produce the iPhone X Plus’ 6.5-inch panels. In details, the iPhone X Plus has upgradable RAM to 3GB with 128GB/256GB of internal storage (no card slot).

On top of that, it works on the latest iOS 11.1.1 as the operating system and packs a non-removable Li-Ion 2900 mAh capacity. Next, iPhone X Plus camera system features a dual 13MP camera on the back. On the other hand, the front-facing camera sports 8MP for taking selfies. We expect Apple to launch them in September 2018 for around $1100 ~ Rs. 70, 862.
The bottom line
However, there is still some internal conflict at Apple’s HQ whether or not LG Display should be a second OLED supplier; or just rely solely on Samsung as they did with the iPhone X models last year. If LG is able to meet the requirements, this will give Apple some leverage to negotiate to price and reduce its reliance with Samsung.
Samsung ISOCELL Plus tech brings low-light photography to a new level
Every big company all strikes for success and Samsung is no exception. Recently, the company has developed a new ISOCELL Plus tech that brings low-light photography to the next level. Keep reading to find out more!

Samsung ISOCELL Plus tech for low-light condition
Earlier this year, Samsung made advances in low-light mobile photography; due to the variable aperture lens debuted on the Galaxy S9 series. However, thanks to the new ISOCELL Plus technology, pictures in low-light setting could get even better. Besides, the company’s ISOCELL technology has been the backbone of Samsung’s cameras for a number of years now. But with this new and improved version, the company has increased its focus on light isolation.
After all, the greater the amount of light that is captured by pixels, the better the image quality in low-light conditions. With a new material that Samsung has jointly developed with Fujifilm, it helps to replace the metal inside current-generation sensors; and reduce light leaks. In fact, the brand claims it can now produce sensors that are 15% more sensitive to light. Meanwhile, it continues using pixels of up to 0.8 micrometres in size.

This means the company can effectively obtain much better results without needing to increase the overall space occupied by the sensors. Following up on this news, Samsung plans to show off demo versions of the new camera tech at the Shanghai Mobile World Congress event in the next few days.
Samsung ISOCELL Plus tech availability
According to our source, the South Korean company will likely reveal a launching timeframe soon. Besides, there’s a rumour that the Galaxy S10 line will likely be the first smartphones to sport the new sensors. However, if Samsung already has the technology ready, it could potentially include it on the back of the Galaxy Note 9 that is set to debut in August.

You can read more about them HERE (for Vivo NEX) and HERE (for OPPO Find X). On the other hand, it seems like Samsung is going to be the next manufacturer to jump into this new display trend. Based on a recent report, the Korean brand finally received the patent for a 100% bezel-less display handset!
Moreover, the new Samsung patent is going to prove that Samsung has achieved what others couldn’t. Furthermore, Samsung’s bezel-less design will deliver very close to 100% screen-to-body ratio in smartphones. According to Lets Go Digital, the Korean brand has filed a patent for its smartphone design on August 24, 2017. After that, they received the approval on June 21 by World Intellectual Property Office (WIPO).
On details, the Samsung patent reveals that the smartphone display comes with four strips. Moreover, they attached to all four sides through magnets. We can take a guess and say that they are made of metal, aluminium or even patterned wood (in case of TVs).
