After stopping all supports for the PS3 after 10 years, now Sony is going full force on the PS4. The company has announced the two upgraded versions of the original PS4: the PS4 Slim and the PS4 Pro. The Slim one is not much of an improvement for hardware, just less bulky. However, the Pro version is a significant improvement over the original. So much that game publishers have to upgrade their games to fully utilize the enhanced processing power of the PS4 Pro. Besides these two new consoles, other accessories for the PS4 family has also been recently revealed.

Firstly, there will be a new version of the DualShock 4 gamepad. This new one is not much different from the original, except for the addition of he touchpad with lightbar for using like a PC mouse on PS4. A newly designed PlayStation Camera will also be available soon, with all the same features as the original version. The only difference is the new cylinder shape, and the adjustable stand, possibly for use with VR.

Next, we will also be able to buy a new clear vertical stand, only applicable for the new PS4 Slim and PS4 Pro. Obviously, this won’t fit on Sony’s original stand. This piece is clearly only for those who want an upgrade. Last but not least, we have a new Platinum Wireless headset.
