There are plenty of Apple devices going around in the last few months in the EEC but none of them is the actual new iPhones since it’s too early for that. The company is going to reveal this version of Photoshop for all 2019 iPads at its annual MAX creative conference in October. Thus, the app actual release date should be sometime next year.

After a mysterious 2018 iPhone spotted on Geekbench, today we have some high-quality photo renders of a next-generation 6.1-inch iPhone. Keep reading for more details!
Budget 6.1-inch iPhone appears in photos.
Here is a look at what could be a pretty close rendition of the entry level 2018 iPhone. The renders were made based on recent specs and design rumours. The photo renders showcase a 6.1-inch iPhone, slightly larger than the iPhone X. Another difference is the single camera on the back and possibly the use of aluminium frame, instead of the stainless steel used in the previous X models. The back of the 6.1-inch iPhone is said to be glass, like on all current iPhone units. So it’s an easy assumption that it will also have wireless charging.
On another news, Apple is expected to launch three iPhones in 2018. One entry-level phone with a 6.1-inch screen and single camera, a continuation of the 5.8-inch iPhone X and a 6.5-inch iPhone Plus. In addition, there is news about two out of the three will sport dual-SIM capabilities. However, only the Chinese units will equip with a tray that accepts two SIM cards. In other countries, two of the 2018 iPhone handsets will come with a single card slot and will add the virtual Apple SIM in order to support dual SIM features.
Quick backstory, the Apple SIM launched in 2014, embedded inside the Apple iPad Air 2. This allows the user to quickly change the wireless provider depending on which one is offering the best pricing, connectivity, or features at the time. While more than 150 countries support Apple SIM, China is not one of them. That explains why two of the upcoming 2018 iPhone models will have a dual SIM card tray. According to the report, adding dual SIM-dual standby capabilities to the iPhone could pump up sales in Asian and African markets.
Budget 6.1-inch iPhone release date and price
Other than it is going to ship with 4GB RAM and iOS 12, that is all we have known so far about this alleged Apple device. Guess we will have to wait until the company’s official launch in September to unveil the secrets. In the meantime, stay tuned with us for further updates!
It looks like Apple and LG have joined hands together! Apparently, LG Display is now in charge of producing OLED screens for iPhone X Plus models. Keep reading for more details!
LG Display x Apple’s OLED display collaboration
Bad news for Samsung! Apple recently invested $2.7 billion in LG Display to help build OLED panels for its 2018 iPhones. According to China Morning Post, Apple is planning to get LG as its second OLED supplier and will initially deliver between 2 ~ 4 million units. In addition, LG is said to be building a production line dedicated to iPhone orders only, as part of its agreement with Apple. But 4 million doesn’t even scratch the surface of iPhones that are going to ship this year.
So LG will be having just 20% of the OLED supply chain while the rest will still go to Samsung. Related sources claim that LG Display wants to take a bigger cut, but it’s not ready to meet the full demand for OLED panels. Besides, LG Display is going to produce the iPhone X Plus’ 6.5-inch panels. In details, the iPhone X Plus has upgradable RAM to 3GB with 128GB/256GB of internal storage (no card slot).
On top of that, it works on the latest iOS 11.1.1 as the operating system and packs a non-removable Li-Ion 2900 mAh capacity. Next, iPhone X Plus camera system features a dual 13MP camera on the back. On the other hand, the front-facing camera sports 8MP for taking selfies. We expect Apple to launch them in September 2018 for around $1100 ~ Rs. 70, 862.
The bottom line
However, there is still some internal conflict at Apple’s HQ whether or not LG Display should be a second OLED supplier; or just rely solely on Samsung as they did with the iPhone X models last year. If LG is able to meet the requirements, this will give Apple some leverage to negotiate to price and reduce its reliance with Samsung.
According to latest figures by Counterpoint, Samsung Galaxy S9 duo has made to the top selling worldwide list of April 2018! These phones arrive with over 3000mAh battery. Keep reading for more details!
Samsung Galaxy S9 duo top global sales in April
In the latest Market Pulse April Edition report researched by Counterpoint, the Samsung Galaxy S9 duo’s sale figures appeared to be dominating the chart. The company’s analysts measured particularly good performance for Samsung in North America and the Asia-Pacific markets. Moreover, aggressive price cuts, cashback deals, and the similarities with the Galaxy S9 have also allowed the previous Galaxy S8 to earn a place in the top 10 list.
Here is a quick run-through of the Samsung Galaxy S9 specs. It includes a 5.8-inch AMOLED touchscreen (1440 x 2960 resolution pixels) and gets power from the Exynos 9810 Octa/ Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset. On top of that, the Samsung device sports a 4GB RAM with 64GB/ 128GB/ 256GB ROM. Photography-wise, Samsung Galaxy S9 camera features a 12MP rear snapper as well as an 8MP shooter up-front. Lastly, its battery rocks a 3000mAh power pack.
Now, moving back to the list. Although the iPhone X is all the way in third place, Apple is still enjoying enormous popularity. Thanks to the continuous support and critical reduction patterns on its premium devices, the company is seeing a lot of interest towards its older models. In particular, Counterpoint is reporting substantial demand for the iPhone 7. Next, Xiaomi continues to make its presence felt in a significant way. It grabbed the sixth and eight positions, with the Redmi 5A and Redmi Note 5, respectively. Both are quite affordable entry-level devices that make for a rather exciting distribution within the top 10 chart. As it currently stands, a clear preference towards flagships and budget devices is obvious.
The bottom line
The fact that the Samsung Galaxy S9 duo has made it to the top of this chart could explain the mostly binary nature of the results. With average users either going for the most marketed, premium devices or opting to save as much as they can; while still being satisfied with what current budget handsets have to offer.
Recently, a strange issue has appeared on the Apple iPhone X camera. To be specific, some people have had glass cracks on the phone’s camera cover. Keep reading for more details!
Apple iPhone X camera issue
Ever since January, a thread on the Apple discussion forum has been growing. It appears that the glass cover on the Apple iPhone X that protects the lens on both rear cameras has started cracking on many units. Now, some people might blame it on being careless, as when you drop the phone on a hard surface, the glass will crack. And that would make perfect sense except that the complaints came from iPhone X owners who affirm that they have never dropped their expensive handset.
So if that is not the case, what could cause the cracks to appear? Some put it on the temperature. Apple states that the iPhone X needs to be in an ambient temperature range of 32°F (0°C) to 95°F (35°C) while in use, and -4°F (-20°C) to 113°F (45°C) when at rest. However, some users have tried using the phone in colder conditions than those specified by Apple and found no damage whatsoever on their device. Perhaps this is something that is not weather related.
One Apple community member says “This obviously is a design/material flaw!” On a side note, let’s take a look at the phone’s specs. In details, the Apple iPhone X specs include a 5.8 inch OLED with the resolution of 2346 x 1125 pixels. Under the hood, it retains the A11 Bionic chip and draws a 2716 mAH juice box. Regarding the storage, the Apple handset offers a 3GB RAM and 64GB/256GB ROM with no card slot. Photography-wise, Apple iPhone X camera includes a dual 12MP (f/1.8, 28mm) + 12MP (f/2.4, 52mm) rear snappers and a 7MP (f/2.2, 32mm) selfie shooter.
Apple remains silent amidst the controversial
Whatever the reason for the cracks, Apple has been on the quiet side. Considering the bad publicity it received last week when it was discovered that the company knew in advance about the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus bendgate; and that its decision not to use epoxy led to “Touch Disease” on the same models, Apple needs to be completely transparent about this new issue.
Brace yourself! Rumours brought out that the iPhone with a triple camera is coming in 2019! You’d better prepare your money now and keep reading for more details!
iPhone with a triple camera is coming in May
A few weeks ago, Huawei brought fresh air to the smartphone camera design by using a triple camera setup in the Huawei P20 Pro. Then recently, many rumours brought out that Apple would follow the same path. Jeff Pu – analyst at Yuanda Securities – said in a recent research report that the next line of iPhones (in the second half of next year) would have at least one device with a triple camera setup just like the trendsetter Huawei P20 Pro.
Jeff Pu did not give any specific details, but a previous speculation by Economic Daily News suggests that it would have 6-piece lenses with a maximum 5x zoom. And at least one of the lenses was said to have 12 MP resolution. For the longest time, Apple has always reserved the best for last just as it did with the X flagship. However, the possibility of the triple camera lens iPhones this year is very low. Thus we might have to wait until the end of next year.
However, there are a couple of renders regarding the triple cameras on an iPhone has been released by iDropNews. See them here. As for other specs of this new alleged triple cam device, we think it would still be the same as the iPhone X. In details, Apple iPhone X specs arrive with a 5.8-inch super AMOLED touchscreen (1125 x 2436 pixels resolution). Besides, the phone runs on Apple A11 Bionic chipset and iOS 11.3. For the storage, Apple iPhone X comes with different variants of 3GB RAM with 64GB/ 216GB ROM. Moreover, Apple iPhone X camera features a dual 12MP snapper on the back and a single 7MP front-facing shooter. Lastly, iPhone X battery has a 2716mAh battery capacity and a price tag of $1,230 ~ Rs. 80,147.

Previously, we have caught much news about the next iPhone generation. In details, we can expect to see up to three new Apple iPhones hitting the market. Furthermore, Apple is now planning to switch over from their standard Touch ID to Face ID in this year. Last year, the US manufacturer faced a big problem in the iPhone X production. Due to a component shortage, they had to delay the flagship arrival.
Moreover, the issue also caused them to release the limited number of the handset on the first period. This 2018, Apple is going to start their trial production much earlier to avoid such situations. There has been some information that Apple iPhone X might be discontinued in this summer due to some unbelievable reasons. Check it out!
Apple iPhone X Might Be Discontinued This Summer
Last year, together with Apple iPhone 8 and 8 Plus, Apple also launched Apple iPhone X to celebrate 10 years since their first launch in 2007. The iPhone X comes with a significant change in design from the iPhone 6 in 2014. First, this Apple iPhone X offers a nearly bezel-less design with a notch on the top of the screen. Furthermore, FaceID also brings a revolution in the smartphone security system. However, according to a KGI Securities’ analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, this iPhone might stop being produced in the summer of this year.
The reason for this cancellation of Apple iPhone X is the disappointing sales of Apple, especially in China. In the Chinese market, the big and bezel-less screen is a trend. However, as for the customers, the “notch” appearance of this iPhone is a waste of usable space. Therefore, the design of this iPhone is not attractive to them. Moreover, the analyst claims that Apple might see a modest 5% growth in the first half of 2018. On the other hand, at the end of this year, this giant manufacture has a high chance of replacing the iPhone X by 3 new iPhones.
These new iPhones are going to be the second generation of iPhone X with 5.8-inch screen size, 6.5-inch display for the Plus variants and a “$650-750” 6.1-inch iPhone SE. Furthermore, upcoming Apple iPhones is likely to sport the similar Face ID notch. Previously, in 2014, Apple also discontinued their iPhone 5C.
Upcoming Apple iPhone X variants release date and price
At the moment, there is no official information of Apple from the 3 new iPhones yet. We expect the upcoming iPhone of Apple might come in the last quarter of 2018. For the cost, these phones price falls around $1,100 ~ Rs.70,062. On the other hand, the iPhone SE coming this year might cost only around $700 ~ Rs.44,585. Let’s wait and see whether these new flagships can revamp the prime time of Apple again. What do you think about these new iPhones? Drop us a comment to let us know.
Recently, analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has given his predictions about Apple in 2018. Besides the low number of iPhone X shipments, he also hinted at a new iPhone with the large display of 6.5-inch. Scroll down for more information!
Apple in 2018: the decrease fame of iPhone X, new iPhone to come!
In 2017, Apple has celebrated their 10th anniversary with the release of the iPhone X. In details, Apple iPhone X specs impressed their users with an All-screen OLED with the unique 19.5:9 ratio. Furthermore, this Apple flagship also comes with a good performance setup as well as the first-ever Face ID. With such a stand-out design, many fans have predicted about the iPhone X’s sales rate to be rocket-high. However, they might be wrong!
According to recent reports, the iPhone X hasn’t made it int Apple’s best-selling iPhone flagships in the past years. Before, we estimated that Apple was going to sell 20-30 million iPhone X models. On the contrary, Ming-Chi Kuo stated that Apple was only able to ship 18 million purchases. One of the reasons behind is the longer smartphone cycle for Chinese phone users’. They are now less likely to change their current phone to the new models.
In 2018, Ming-Chi Kuo claimed that we could expect around 13 million Apple iPhone X units in Quarter 2. On the other hand, he also shared about three new iPhones coming out this year. Notably, there is going to be a 6.1-inch LCD handset, a 6.5-inch OLED phone and an iPhone X’s successor. Furthermore, Ming-Chi Kuo also suggested that Apple could stop selling the iPhone X in mid-2018. However, Apple has the habits of keeping their current iPhone around for a year. So there is a high chance that this statement isn’t going to come true.
Apple in 2018: the new iPhone release date!
The three new iPhone models can arrive on the market in Quarter 3 of 2018. As for the cost, we expect one of the new iPhone price to start around $650 to $750 price range (Rs.41531 ~ Rs.47000). What do you think about Apple’s future in 2018? Drop a comment to let us know!

Wider phone screen – what is it for?
In the history, we see the first aspect ratio to come at 4:3 on our older devices. However, we just have witnessed so much more smartphones to come with an aspect ratio of 16:9 last 2017. In details, there are up to 40/300 smartphones released with the aspect ratio of 16:9 and more. These smartphones belong to top 100 handsets by user interests, while most of them sport 18:9 aspect ratio.
To name a few, we start with Apple iPhone X that comes along with aspect ratio of 18:5:9, depending on whether the notch size to include or not. Previously, Xiaomi Mi Mix display carries the aspect ratio of 17:9. On the other hand, we used to have the LG BL40 New Chocolate to get impressive 21:9 aspect ratio eight years ago. But for now, we expect the much more outstanding aspect ratio this 2018.
Since Youtube offers 16:9 aspect ratio videos, users do not have to crop the videos if they own 16:9 or wider display. Based on the latest updates, Netflix TV shows already use 16:9 aspect ratio or wider. Meanwhile, going for wider screen allows more room when surfing on web pages or mail lists. Also, this innovation leads to 3D facial scanners instead of fingerprint scanners. Besides, higher aspect ratio means taller and bezel-less phones in the near future.
